At Best Home Care, nurses have the knowledge and experience to assist potential clients and family members to choose the best home health care option. The need for private home health care services is sometimes unexpected and urgent. Weather the need is urgent or planned, our clients prefer to be at home.
Erin Warner RN BSN and Nicole Geddes BSN, LPN, meet with potential clients and their families to assess the client needs, discuss home care options, and assist with referrals to outside agencies. Both of our nurses work with clients and families to deturmine the number of hours per day that are most appropriate for each client. Since we are not sure how the client will respond to home care services, the service hours often change and are increased and decreased based on changing client needs. Erin and Nicole assist to choose the best caregiver for each individual situation.
When the need for private home health care services is a planned event, for example, when a client has gone from hospital to a nursing or rehabilitation facility, Erin or Nicole meets the client and family at the facility. Our nurse is involved in the discharge planning with the social worker or discharge planner at the facility. She works with the facility to ensure that any equipment that will be needed at home has been ordered and will be delivered on the day that the client arrives home.

At Best Home Care, our finance manager, Kaye Alteri, educates clients about all billing and payment options available.
Private home health care services are often reimbursable expenses through MA State Elder Services , Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission, Visiting Nurse Associations, Veterans Benefits, Long Term Care Insurance, Hospices, and Workers Compesation.
Kaye bills all other payment sources before you are billed privately for any nursing, home care aide, or homemaker services that Best Home Care provides.
