Meet Our Team

Martha Hamm, President and CEO
Martha serves as CEO at Best Home Care N’ More, Inc. Martha earned her associates degree in nursing from Bunker Hill Community College in 1979 and her bachelor’s degree in Nursing at Emmanuel College in 1989. Martha’s early experience in nursing was at Youville Hospital in Cambridge and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston. Since 1985, Martha has worked in Home Health Care in a variety of roles and settings, including community health care, supervisor, manager, and instructor. Most recently as the Director of Education at the Health and Home Care Training Center in Burlington. She lives in Stoneham with her husband, Barry. Martha enjoys spending time with her daughter and grandchildren, as well as time in the warm weather of Florida.

Barry Hamm, Vice President
Barry has been with the company since its inception and has been involved in numerous areas of the business. He oversees the financial side of the business. Barry also works with clients and employees to ensure the needs of both are met. This role has allowed Barry the opportunity to meet a diverse group of people and he has enjoyed learning about other cultures. He recently spoke at a conference for case managers about the Ugandan culture. If you have an interest in learning about other cultures, call and ask for Barry. Barry came to Best Home Care with many years of experience as a business owner.

Barry is husband to President of the company, Martha Hamm, and has two children, Carolyn and Jeff. Barry enjoys traveling, boating, working on his home remodel, and lobster dinners with his family.

 

Keri Verity
After working in the field as a home health aide and scheduling coordinator, Keri came to Best Home Care as Administrator of Health Care Services. In addition to home care administrative experience, Keri taught pre K and was the Head Teacher of four classrooms for the Melrose YMCA in Stoneham.

 

Keri has a son, Anthony and many nieces and nephews who she enjoys spending time with. One of Keri’s favorite things to do is ride her Harley with her husband Alan.

 

 

 

 

Financial Management

Kaye Altieri, CFO

Kaye Altieri is the Chief Financial Officer at Best Home Care. Since her employment in 2003, Kaye has been responsible for the company’s financial well-being. Kaye provides financial projections, accounting services, and growth plans. Kaye manages Cash flow, Payroll, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Banking, and Employee Benefits.

In her current position, Kaye likes the daily interactions and assistance that she provides to both our clients and our employees.

Kaye enjoys being a part of an organization that provides quality home health care services to those that wish to remain in their homes as they age and/or develop health problems.

Prior to her work at Best Home Care, Kaye was employed for 25 years at Converse (Footwear                                                                 Company) as the Supervisor of Import Financial Operations.

In Kaye’s spare time she enjoys long walks with her Corgi Ruby. She’s in a bowling league                                                                       and loves hiking and fishing.
