Pat shows great dedication to her role as a Scheduling Coordinator. Not only does she work well with her clients, client’s family, and caregivers, she is a great co-worker that keeps lines of communication open and is always ready to help another resolve any issues that may arise.
In 2013, Pat received the Carlene McGoldrick Kenney Scheduler/Coordinator Award from the Home Care Aide Council. This annual award is given in memory of Carlene, Assistant Director of Intercity Homemaker Service and President-Elect of the Council in 1996. The recipient represents the qualities exemplified by Carlene: consideration for the client as well as effective communication and problem-solving skills.
The follow is an excerpt from Pats nomination: "There are many reasons that clients and employees call Pat. We jokingly say, if you have a problem, just call Pat at 1800-Call-Pat, she’ll know what to do. The list of reasons that Pat is called include tax questions, divorce issues, car problems, or just returning from a vacation and need to tell someone about the fun you’ve had. When Pat is called on for reasons that are not included in her position as scheduling coordinator, she is someone that our clients and aides trust. They understand that she listens to them, without judgment."
Patty enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
